Gridstratos is a South African company building the software layer for charging and energy infrastructure. Charging is where we start because the need is immediate and the operating reality is difficult to fake.

Our first product helps people monitor and manage EV chargers. The company is built to grow with the wider energy systems around them, without pretending today’s product does more than it does.
That means we can stay focused on solving real charging problems now while leaving room for the company to expand responsibly.

A South African charging stack
Remote software with a grid-independent hardware option.
Microcare is Gridstratos’ preferred charging hardware partner.
Its solar DC-to-DC charger can charge directly from solar without an AC grid connection. Gridstratos adds remote monitoring, control and charging records around supported hardware.
Together, that creates a practical option for remote sites and locations where unreliable grid supply would otherwise limit charging.
The off-grid capability belongs to the Microcare charger and its solar design. Site performance still depends on correct engineering for local conditions.
